Kantar Health Names Diana Tan General Manager for China, Expanding Expertise in Innovative Patient Insights

May 5, 2016

SHANGHAI, May 5, 2016 – Kantar Health, a leading global healthcare consulting and market research firm, today announced that Diana Tan has been named General Manager, China. Tan’s appointment will expand Kantar Health’s leadership by introducing innovative approaches to help healthcare industry clients understand the needs of both physicians and patients through the digital and mobile methodologies that Kantar Health has developed.

“Patients in China are becoming increasingly influential in decision making,” said Graeme Jacombs, Managing Director – Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Kantar Health. “Social and digital communication channels are changing how both patients and doctors receive information and how they communicate with each other. Diana will help our clients understand how doctors are responding to the new digital, multichannel environment in which they operate and how this environment will help them better treat their patients.”

Before joining Kantar Health, Tan held regional roles at Double Helix and IMS Health and had experience in the consumer and business-to-business sectors. She is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and is a post-graduate in political science at IEP de Paris. She has presented at various industry conferences and was on the EphMRA Conference program committee in Shanghai, Beijing and Singapore.

“I am proud to be part of a team with a diverse set of functional and subject matter expertise, in China as well as globally,” Tan said. “I was drawn to Kantar Health because they understand the implications of the tremendous speed at which the healthcare landscape is transforming, and I’m excited to support our clients in improving the status quo and elevating the quality of life for their patients.”
