NEW YORK, October 2, 2012—Kantar Health, a leading healthcare-focused global consultancy and marketing insights company, has named Gary J. Gatyas Jr. as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Communications. In this role, Gatyas will advance Kantar Health’s marketing, marketing communications, media relations and interactive communications strategies across the consultancy’s global business units. He also will be responsible for helping develop communications programs that support Kantar Health’s employee relations and talent acquisition strategies.

Gatyas joins Kantar Health from IMS Health, where he directed global media relations and played a key role in launching the IMS Institute for Healthcare Informatics, as well as executing its media relations and marketing programs. Previously, he was an associate director with KPMG, a Big Four accounting and professional services firm, responsible for crisis and corporate communications. Prior to that, Gatyas led client account teams at Gibbs & Soell Public Relations, a top 10 independent PR firm, and the Dudnyk Group of Marketing Companies.
Gatyas holds an MBA in Finance and an MA in Corporate and Organizational Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a bachelor’s in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University.
