Kantar Health Names Florian Eichmann Business Unit Director, Treatment Value

NEW YORK, April 17, 2012—Kantar Health, a leading healthcare-focused global consultancy and marketing insights company, has appointed Dr. Florian Eichmann as Business Unit Director, Treatment Value, based in Germany. In this role, he is responsible for the Health Outcomes, Public Health, Drug Surveillance, Clinical Research and Medical Device/Diagnostic groups and a service profile ranging from clinical trial operations to Health Economics and Patient-Reported Outcomes consultancy.        

Dr. Eichmann joins Kantar Health from Kendle, where he led European Health Outcomes, registries and observational activities and gained wide experience in late-phase/post-marketing research. Additionally, he was involved in global Health Outcomes activities and served as a member of the Global Strategic Consulting Group.

Prior to Kendle, Dr. Eichmann worked as a CRO-based Senior Clinical Research Associate and Project Coordinator, as well as Laboratory Coordinator, Cosmetic Tests, establishing a cosmetics test department and several test methods. He also acted as a pharma-based medical affairs and science consultant. Dr. Eichmann holds a Master’s and Doctoral degree in Biology with a focus on Behavioral Sciences, Endocrinology and Immunology.
